Accessibility Statement

Our cabin is accessed via a gravel drive and pathway of approximately 50m, there are four steps between the parking and cabin. Our shepherd huts are in our meadow, remote in there location, accessed by walking up a moderately steep gravel pathway and steps up to access.

Due to the small dimensions of our cabin and shepherd hut’s, both with access by gravel pathways and steps it would not be possible to provide wheelchair access.

We have taken care to design a site that is as accessible to as many as possible, with plenty of space around parking with less than 50m to walk to our stays. Shepherd huts are historically built on large cast iron wheels, so steps are required to gain access. We have invested in a substantial railing to help access to our Edie hut for those who may need support. Our stays are well lit at the main doors for clear visibility to access.

Guide and medical assistance dogs welcome and are exempt from any charges.

We do not discriminate against anyone based on their age, gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, marital status gender reassignment or sexual orientation.

Please contact us prior to booking should you have any special requirements or if you are unsure whether the access and facilities of our cabin or shepherd huts are suitable for your requirements.
